Please print your e-tickets ahead of time or choose mobile delivery, and have them ready for display to expedite the entry process. Tickets may be purchased at the gate, pending availabilty. ACCESSIBILITY


Festival grounds are accessible with paved pathways throughout Addison Circle Park. Ample seating is available for festival patrons; however, guests who require special accommodations may contact the event staff at the Information Booth for assistance. Wheelchairs and electric carts are not available for rent.

Admission Policies & Procedures


All bags will be searched. If possible, please leave bags and purses at home to avoid delayed entry.

Patrons may get their hand stamped upon exit and return free of charge on the same day. Normal admission policy applies for re-entry.

Alcoholic beverage sales end thirty minutes prior to event closing. No alcoholic beverages may enter or leave the festival grounds.

Fork & Cork is a rain or shine event. Music acts may be postponed due to inclement weather, but will not be rescheduled for an alternative weekend. Refunds are not provided.

Animals, coolers, lawn chairs, laser pointers, weapons, bicycles, rollerblades, or skateboards may not be brought on to the festival grounds.

A limited supply of complimentary sunscreen and bug spray is available to patrons at the Festival Command Post. Additional necessities can be purchased at the Albertsons store located on the Festival grounds.

COOKING DEMONSTRATIONS & CONCERTS


All cooking demonstrations and concerts are presented free of charge to festival patrons with paid admission. It is standing room only, so come early for the best viewing. If you are more of a hands-on type of person, you can purchase the VIP package and participate in the demonstrations and classes. FESTIVAL COUPONS & AUTOMATED TELLER MACHINES


Participating restaurants accept cash for food and beverage items so festival coupons are not required. Several Automated Teller Machines (ATM’s) are available throughout the festival grounds. Please look in the event brochure for specific locations. Nominal service charge fees apply.

LOCATION


All events are held at Addison Circle Park, 4970 Addison Circle Drive. The main entrance is located at the corner of Quorum Drive at Addison Circle near the large Blueprints sculpture. Caution: Temporary fence is used on the festival grounds and is subject to collapse in high winds.

PARKING


FREE self-parking is located in the parking garages located on Arapaho Road at the Dallas Parkway and Addison Circle Drive at Dallas Parkway. Valet parking is available on Quorum Drive at Morris Avenue. Handicap parking is available at the DART Transit Center, 4925 Arapaho Road.

VIDEO & PHOTOGRAPHY


Video surveillance cameras are used in Addison Circle Park. An official photographer will be taking photos throughout the festival grounds so patrons attending the event may be pictured in event marketing materials. Patrons may not photograph or videotape the headline culinary chefs or musical acts on the Dos Equis stage.

WHAT ARE OTHER FAMILY-FRIENDLY EVENTS IN ADDISON?

WHAT IS CAFÉ MOMENTUM?


Café Momentum is the 501(c)3 organization that will serve as the official beneficiary of the Addison Fork & Cork Kick-Off Party on Friday, May 16. This non-profit organization is a restaurant training platform that provides post-release paid internships for juvenile offenders, through which they receive intensive culinary, job, and life skills training as well as continued mentoring and support to foster successful re-entry into the community. In addition to significantly reducing recidivism, Café Momentum creates opportunities for long-term, sustainable employment for a demographic that would otherwise continue to burden the justice system and taxpayers. WHAT IS THE TASTY RUN?


Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 8 a.m. at Beckert Park, 4044 Addison Circle Drive
5K registration is $30 through May 11th and $40 on race day. Fun Run or 5K (ages 12 and under) is $20. Click here to register.

The 2nd annual Tasty Run 5K and Fun Run is a family-friendly race featuring some of Addison’s most flavorful restaurants serving bite-sized samples that will keep runners satisfied and entertained. The Tasty 5K benefits the Addison Legacy Foundation whose purpose is to provide funding for projects and philanthropic initiatives that enhance the quality of life for those who live in, work in, or visit the Town of Addison. WHO ARE THE MAIN ENTERTAINERS?


Marcus Samuelsson is a James Beard Foundation Award winning chef based in New York City. He is a staple on popular cooking shows on the Food Network, Cooking Channel and Bravo. In 2010, he won Top Chef Masters and is currently a judge on ABC’s The Taste.

With multiple Grammy nominations over a 15 year career, Pat Green is synonymous with Texas Country Music. Green has multiple hit songs and a new album release that digs even deeper into his Texas roots. Pat has most recently dabbled in the culinary world as a co-owner of The Rustic, located in Uptown. This “farm to flame” concept is about as true to Texas as country music is.

WHY DID FORK & CORK REPLACE TASTE ADDISON?


After extensive branding research and feedback from focus groups, it was clear that our patrons wanted a more interactive culinary event. Fork & Cork – A Celebration of Taste evolved out of the success of Taste Addison and will replace it as our signature food event.
